Barbara von Bechtolsheim, executive director of the Hugo Kauder Society, and Music Restored Program Director Adam Millstein offer engaging insights on Kauder, Zeisl, Toch, and Krenek, who the Nazis had labeled as “degenerate,” but who also made an impact on 20th-century music. Colburn Conservatory of Music students join Millstein and pianist Dominic Cheli in performing repertoire from the composers.
